When people say they’re in love I just want to punch them in that second anus that they dare to call a mouth
I turned 25 yesterday so this morning I went out to breakfast alone. I sat near this couple that was so tense. They casually ate their eggs and basically underhandedly insulted each other, but it was so stale and dry as if they’ve been so used to having issues that it became common conversation. One example was “you eat your food too fast”, and another was “i hate when my girlfriend defends people who are wrong” - and that second one was him talking TO his girlfriend, meaning he was referring to her as if she wasn’t there. Both of them were miserable and acted like they didn’t even know it. And it just amplifies the fact that I never want to be like that with someone, which is why I break it off with every relationship I have, especially around the year/year and a half mark when it becomes stale. And then it came full-circle, making me realize why I was at breakfast alone in the first place - I’d rather be lonely than stuck.
